What’s the course agenda?

  • 9:30am - 12:00pm: Session
  • 12:00pm - 12:45pm: Lunch
  • 12:45pm - 4:00pm: Session

Lunch and breakout snacks will be served.

What is the course’s content?

The SMART Intermediate Level Course focuses on:

  • A review of the concepts and features from the SMART Fundamentals session
  • Strategies for using SMART link features in the classroom
  • Integrating and updating existing resources for use with the SMART board
  • Downloading and modifying existing SMART lessons
  • Strategies for using PDF, Word, Excel, and PPT with the SMART board
  • Strategies for sharing lessons and activities with students and parents
  • Adding interactivity to any lesson
  • Organizing resources for re-use with SMART Notebook software
  • Grouping pages by category.

What you will receive?
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate, a notebook for personal notes from the workshop, a USB ’stick’ for lessons created and the latest “SMART Board for Dummies” book.

Who are the trainers?
All our teachers are SMART Certified Trainers with extensive teaching experience at the K-12 level.

Access to equipment
Classes are strictly limited to just 20 attendees with a ratio of 3:1 per SMART Board.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

IMPORTANT: Please bring your own laptop.
